I unexpectedly went thrifting yesterday. It had been so long, ever since I quit my other job I've been so low on funds I've been trying to cut down on my spending. Especially since my closet is overflowing with clothes. Yesterday we had such beautiful weather that Fernando and I decided to head over to Dolores Park in San Francisco. Dolores Park is in the Mission district and the Mission district is filled with thrift stores so I couldn't resist myself! I find that I tend to buy a lot of things just because they are cheap but this time I limited myself and ended up buying 5 things that I really love. Quality or quantity is my new rule while thrifting.
More photos of my finds after the jump.
This dress is probably my favorite find from yesterday. It looks a little strange on the hanger but once it's on it looks lovely.
$6 from Mission Thrift
Love these shorts, I knew I had to get them as soon as I saw them
$9 from Mission Thrift
I cut the sleeves off of this shirt because they were really long, they almost hit my elbow since it's a rather large blouse. But larger blouses just mean that they are more comfortable to wear!
$4.49 from Goodwill
I've been on the hunt for a blazer like this ever since I watched Hugo! It was on sale so I snagged it for
$3.25 from Goodwill
I predict I will be wearing the hell out of this bag.
$1.99 from Goodwill
This dress is so pretty I want to stare at it everyday. So I hung it on my door!
Hope everyone has a great week! I got woken up by an earthquake this morning so I just hope we don't have another one anytime soon...or ever. haha.
Until next time,
Paulina

ReplyDeletei think i may need to adapt that quality over quantity rule for thrifting, without it i always end up with so much stuff!
